  35.                       Responibilities of a Node Sysop
  36. -----------------------------------------------------------------------------

  38. You, as a Sysop of a BBS which carries the SYSTERLink mail network, are
  39. responsible for several things:
  40.  
  41. 1) ALL users who use foul language be warned that their language is
  42. unacceptable.  Those users who continue to use foul language should be
  43. removed from SYSTERLink conferences.
  44.  
  45. 2) Must exchange mail which their Hub on a regular basis.  If for some
  46. reason their Hub is non-functioning for a period of time, the Sysop should
  47. make arrangements with another Hub to exchange mail with that other Hub.
  48.  
  49. 3) Must inform me, Robert Williams, or the person operating the Super Hub, of
  50. any phone number changes.  This is mainly so that the Super Hub operator
  51. will be able to update the master list of all Nodes.

  55.          Responsibilities of a Hub, Regional Hub, and Mega Hub Sysop
  56. -----------------------------------------------------------------------------
  57.  
  58. You, as a Sysop of a BBS which surves as a Hub, Regional Hub, or Mega Hub
  59. for the SYSTERLink Mail Network, are responible for several things:
  60.  
  61. 1) Since local users of your BBS will be accessing SYSTERLink Conferences,
  62. you have all of the responsibilities of a Node Sysop.
  63.  
  64. 2) Must inform the Sysops that exchange mail with your BBS of any expected
  65. downtime; that is, when your BBS will be non-functional.  Being a Sysop, I
  66. am fully aware that not all downtime is expected.
  67.  
  68. 3) Must exchange mail with your Regional Hub, Mega Hub, or Super Hub on a
  69. daily basis.
  70.  
  71. 4) Must maintain a list of all Nodes, Hubs, or Regional Hubs which
  72. exchange mail with your BBS.  This is so that, in the event that your BBS
  73. shuts down, it will be possible to re-route their messages to other
  74. boards.

  76. 5) Must carry ALL required conferences offered on SYSTERLink.
